CCEA GCE Life and Health Sciences
Life and Health Science is a varied qualification, which aims to encourage students to develop their interest in and enthusiasm for science, including developing an interest in further study and careers in research science. It also encourages students to appreciate how society makes decisions about scientific issues and how the sciences contribute to the success of the economy and society.

Students will develop competence in a range of practical, mathematical and problem solving skills, and will demonstrate a deeper appreciation of the skills, knowledge and understanding of how science works. Students will gain essential knowledge and understanding of different areas of the subject and how they relate to each other and will gain advanced study skills that help them prepare for higher education.
