Provision allocated to pupils with SEN depends on staff referrals, standardised test scores, evidence from outside agencies, assessments from the Education Authority and other relevant information. Support may range from extra teacher attention within class to additional teaching from an SEN specialist.

Some pupils will be awarded either classroom assistance or general assistance. Such provision is determined by the child’s need and is allocated directly from The Education Authority.
