We are glad to report that our school continues to grow from strength to strength with
record numbers of pupils entering both Year 8 and transferring to us from other schools to
commence 6th Form. We are delighted this year with both our A-Level examination results, which
were our best ever and our excellent GCSE results.
Lisnagarvey High School is an all ability comprehensive school situated in the centre of Lisburn.
The school occupies an attractive 11 acre site and has a roll of 634 pupils and 50 teaching staff.
Our newly refurbished and extended accommodation provides an excellent learning environment for our pupils.
At Lisnagarvey, we are focused on developing the whole child and provide many opportunities for young people
to achieve success. Through high quality learning and teaching from our committed and caring staff we provide
a supportive and challenging educational experience. We have a strong record of academic achievement and
provide a wide curriculum to meet the range of pupils’ needs while our programme of extra-curricular
activities, trips and other events enhance learning and develop a range of skills including team-work,
self-confidence and leadership.
Our shared values of mutual respect between staff and pupils, high expectations of success within a caring
and supportive environment form the basis of our positive school ethos. Within our wider school community,
we promote tolerance and understanding of one another and value diversity.
