Lisnagarvey High School Pupil, Andrew Burleigh, recently attended a special awards ceremony at the Radar Centre in Belfast. Andrew was the winner of the intermediate section of this year’s Anti-Bullying Week Creative Competition.

The competition, run by the Northern Ireland Anti-Bullying Forum, attracted almost 3000 entrants and focused on the theme- “What bullying means to me?” Andrew’s entry in the art category was a ‘Bullying Tree’, on which hung luggage labels with comments from friends and classmates on their views of bullying and how it should be tackled.
