Bebras is a competition aimed at raising awareness of Computing in a fun and rewarding way.  It is an international computing challenge that takes place in more than 35 countries world wide. It aims to promote Informatics and Computing among students of all ages through a variety of problem solving activities.

Hour of Code comes to Lisnagarvey High School!


Lisnagarvey High School sixth form students, have taken up the gauntlet, and shown they possess the necessary skills, ambition, and drive to succeed in a competitive business environment. The Business Studies Department (always up for a challenge) decided to enter two teams into the Young Enterprise company programme. Mr Thompson assisted the Year 13 students, and Mr Fulton assisted the Year 14 students.

This year, our fabulous group of year eight students, ventured to Castlewellan Forest Park Lake to partake in an awesome adventure of a life time! The residential was packed full of rock climbing, zip lining, orienteering and an epic adventure walk!  Students learnt to push themselves to their absolute limits, they set personal goals and learnt how to live life on the edge… literally!!
